Contemporary Elixir Making

Halloween is close, I’m getting ready. Inks and watercolor. This one will be for sale, it’s no commission.

Sea Witch

She’s my favourite character from Little Mermaid. I belive Sea Witch is  a mermaid, too, only that she got old and fat (what if Little Mermaid wouldn’t die young? would she look the same?)  Well, that’s how it ends. My beautiful dog Lori used to be a slim pointer and now she looks like a seal, all smooth and rounded. And she has just come to tell it’s tea time; Lori loves everything about tea time except tea. OK, I need to go and find a cookie.

Mombi

Another fairytale, but no romantic princess this time. Ink (several colors of ink) and Derwent pencils.

The Library

The witch with her pet dragon has returned. I have experimented with mixing ink and two kinds of paint, and I have made a video showing the progress, too. You’re welcome to have a look, everyone.  I’m proud of what I’ve achieved. It was a hard fight with our new camera. The camera is better then old one, but it has more buttons then one, and this makes the whole thing very difficult. Me and advanced technique, we just don’t go well together. I managed to choose a few fragments which are not too dark and not too fuzzy and I have added stills to cover the other steps.

Dragon Pet

Herbs are all over, time to draw something stupid again. Like a dragon in the boat. Who might want to keep a tamed dragon? Probably some wizard or a witch, they like strange animals. Where does this witch go and why by boat?  I don’t know yet, but when I have an idea, I will do another drawing. I feel this dragon pet theme will be continued. This is just first sketch.

Happy end of the crocodile fairytale. Imagine, it’s a big lemon who saves the royal family… the witch is alergic to lemon juice.
