Rose for Beata

xxThirdRose

My sis demanded another pink flower to complete the composition on the wall, so here it is…

Magnolia Twice

I got a bit tired of snow and frost… so just for a change, something blooming. Based on a photo, of course. Two little pictures, about 16 cm, or 6 inches high. This way my big sheet of paper was used to the very end!

Yellow Rose

This is my own rose, I have planted it last year and now I’ve discovered it’s yellow.

Begonias

Quick watercolor sketch of a flower pot in front of my house. Quick, because it was very hot there!

Garden Poppies

Last Sunday experiment. From a photograph, of course. Outside nothing but snow.

First Flower Fairy

This is a fairy from Jan’s next fairytale. Her name is Mia. Just like with teacup mice, there will be two Mias. I’ve made two sketches, one with a slim teenage fairy and one with round-and-fat baby fairy, and Jan has chosen the younger Mia. I’ve finished the first sketch anyway; I had to learn how to paint a wind in watercolor. There’s a  sudden blast of wind in this story which destroys Mia’s blue dress, and then she’s in a need of new cloth. Finally she gets it, with help of a generous colibri who is ready to share its feathers. So this Mia will go to ebay, and next Mia will go to Jan.
