Dorothy Melts The Witch

xxmeltingNobody steals shoes from Dorothy! Acrylics, no watercolor. I’m glad I have managed to finish it. Acrylic paint is resistant (or so I feel about it). It takes time to get where I want to be with my picture.

  1. Yes, acrylic is resistant! It likes to stay where you put it and its work to move it around, and then you take a sip of coffee and it has dried. Not that all mediums does not have their pros and cons.

  2. A wonderful acrylic painting!! Not my favourite medium at all. You’ve done a fantastic job with all the light filtering through with such impatient to dry paint 🙂

    1. Thanks for support:) The light beam in the background was painted with acrylic paint but the technique was typical for watercolor: a lot of water, wet on wet! It works with acrylics too, as long as you do it quickly.
