Princess and the Frog

Hobbit was great! This time movie played succesfully to the end. The beginning  was a bit slow, perhaps, but  then the story was accelerating  every minute and the most orthodox fan of action movies wouldn’t complain about the scenes in the kingdom of goblins.   I don’t know why some people don’t like it, what else did they expect? This is old good Tolkien, and not “Crime and Punishment”.  I’m still impressed by visual quality of the movie.  Some scenes were rendered so beautifully, that now (this “now” will last for a few weeks, I guess) I  feel safer when drawing something else. Old Grimm’s  fairytale this time. And a little experiment with mixing paint and pulverized pastel stick.
